We are happy to announce that Snupped will be doing our fair share to help planet Earth. It will increase our workload and costs but everyone has a part to play and so do we=)

As of this post, Snupped will no longer use plastics to wrap your sleeves, only recycled wrapping papers shall be used. We will also be reducing the amount of paper usage. For very sleeve that is sent out by us, addresses will be hand-written (hope non of you would find our hand writing too atrocious). We will also use smaller envelopes and will reduce the amount of sticky tape. However, rest assured that we will ensure that your sleeve is well protected.

We are amending our shipping charges slightly. This change will affect mainly our Malaysian neighbours. Shipping to addresses in Malysia will be adjusted from the previous SGD$14 to SGD$5. We have also made the appropriate updates to our Help section.

3 in 1 Mini Camera

This may not be the sleekest looking camera out there, but it is certainly one of the most useful cameras. This camera, featured on Geekalert as well, is so small that you can not only fit it into your pocket, you can also use it as a keychain. In fact, it is so small that your friends who see it will not believe that it is a functioning camera at first glance. But they are so wrong.

It may be the Chihuahua of cameras in terms of size, but it boasts of being a camera, a video camera, and a webcam together. The camera itself captures up to 243 photos depending on quality and compression. The video camera, though capable of capturing only a few seconds of video, will still be good enough to capture down that moment you smash your best friend’s face into their birthday cake. Of course, if you’re bored, you can simply plug in the camera into your laptop and it becomes a webcam.

The best part is that this 3-in-1 mini camera comes at a pretty affordable price of US$19.95, and with 4 colors to choose from. While this is not meant to be a replacement for a true digicam, it is still a very good accessory to go with your laptop. Perfect for those times when you just want to snap a shot, but you can’t because no one else has a camera with them.

Laptop sleeve designs aren’t easy to find and Snupped’s customers firmly believe that a laptop sleeve has to have character and style. We know, it’s been a long time since we added in new designs, but we have not been slacking our lazy bottoms off! This week, we bring in 3 new additions and we hope you’ll love them.

Ms. Vivacious

The first design we added is named Ms. Vivacious. Doesn’t the design remind you of cover girls? These girls simply will not leave home without their mascaras, eyeliner, or lip-sticks. They will walk into any mall and you’ll feel their presence. They are simply gorgeous. There’s something that Ms.Vivacious gives out, something that a plain black sleeve will never have, and it’s called attitude. You may view Ms.Vivacious here.

To The Zoo

The child at heart made us add this particular design. Remember the days when you were a child and how you begged mum and dad to bring you to the zoo? We’ve brought the zoo to you now. Well, sort of. Personally, the touch of brown in the background gives this sleeve a classy feel yet the prints bring in the fun element. One thing that I really like is that all the little animals are actually doing something. The puppy’s fetching the mail, mother duck is parading around with her ducklings and there’s even a hot air balloon! To The Zoo can be viewed here.

Ruby Fleurs

Ruby Fleurs has to be one of the most daring laptop sleeve designs added this week. The fleur patterns are outlined by damask and patchwork prints.  The blood red colour is vibrantly enhanced with the black background giving a very loud outburst of lust and desire. It’s probably been quite a while since you’ve had your Snupped laptop sleeve. Is it still as good as new?

We take great pride in every single detail when it comes to sewing your sleeve and we hope you’ll treat them with care too. They need some love too, like you and me. Here are a common questions on how you can take care of  Mr. Snupped.

May I wash it?
Yes, you can. Our laptop sleeves are like the clothes we wear, except that they’re for your laptops.

You can either hand wash or machine wash, but take care to use only cool water only. Do not use fabric softeners! Do not tumble dry also. Instead, lay it on a flat surface to dry.

The best way is to use a wet cloth to wipe your laptop sleeve. You may use a detergent to remove any stains. We recommend this method instead as frequent washing of your laptop sleeve may damage the sponge inside.

May I Iron it?
Yes, our laptop sleeves are made of cotton and are iron-friendly. Just make sure your iron is not set too hot!

Can I fold my laptop sleeve?
If you can fold your clothes, then you can fold our laptop sleeves. You may get a a few cringes here and there, but a little ironing will fix it in no time.

Will the zip spoil if I play with it too often?
Normally no, but it really depends on how destructive you are ;).

Threads are growing from my sleeve, how do I remove them?
Please do not pull them out! DO NOT pull them out. Use a scissors to cut away the thread. The THREAD, not the laptop sleeve!
